Dragon Stadium Debut

What an exciting day!  Chandler's youth football team recently had the opportunity to play one of their games at the high school football stadium better know as Dragon Stadium!  He was beyond excited.  He strutted out on that big field and had a blast.  I couldn't help but watch with a joy that comes from sharing your child's new experience.  The loud cheers....the cowbells....the pompoms....the cheerleaders...the scoreboard...  Could he hear my voice?  Could he distinguish my cheers with all of the other sounds around him?  Could he hear Breece on the sidelines as he coached?  Could he hear the ones who loved him??  Oh I hoped so!  All of a sudden my joy was met with fear.  The thought crossed my mind
...what if....just what if he could hear the grumbles and moans of the crowd???  What if he heard the negative comments??  The lies??  Would he believe them??  There was after all alot of noise...both good and bad. What could he hear?  God used that small moment for me to see a big picture.  One of my prayers now for my children has come from that day.....that moment.  Oh how I pray that Chandler and Berkley will be able to distinguish God's voice from all of the other noise in their lives.....I pray they will always hear and believe that voice of truth!
