12 is a funny number to me....it just makes me think of alot of different things.....a dozen eggs....6 doubled....tribes in Egypt....months of the year....12:00 noon...24 halved.....midnight and so on and so on. However, June 1st this number changed for me....it is the age Chandler turned this year on his birthday. Now when I think of 12, I feel a happy/sad tug in my heart. 12 now is the 4380 days that I have been blessed to be a mom, the 105,120 hours I have loved someone beyond comprehension and the 6,307,200 minutes I have worried about this precious life we have been entrusted. Also, I recently realized that 2/3 of 18 (the age he will be when he leaves our home) is 12 which means that I only have 6 summers left with Chandler :(. Chandler turning 12 has been so much more of a milestone for me than I ever would have imagined. Having a mind that works like mine could be viewed by some/most as crazy (medication worthy)! However, in this instance I am happy that my brain works in such a manner. I feel like it has really heightened my awareness of being mindful to soak up each moment with him (the good and the challenging:) )...treasuring the moments and not taking them for granted.
What else do I think of when 12 comes to mind....the many, many amazing memories we have with him!

Mixed emotions on this one! :) This just means my Tyler is only 6 months away from the big 12. SO excited our boys will be at the same school this year. Chandler will have to show T the ropes!

When I downloaded the original I resized/resampled the picture, sharpened it and displayed it life size. Chandler is so darn good looking he sent shivers up and down my spine so I decided to put him on display life size in my bedroom in one of my large digital picture displays. I absolutely luv the picture and I luv his good looks. Just incredible. When I walk up to admire him the clarity and detail is so good he appears to be sitting directly in front of me and appears as though I can touch him, and I luv that.
